Belated thanks for the wonderful woman who “mistakenly” rode my #2 bike, mirror of #1, just after I put it in the pit at Krugers. Think of my surprise when I went to check on the bike during my prerace warm up.
It wasn’t there!
After my canvas of the area yielded no results I was thinking about the “locking down” Krugers and calling the police. While speaking of my plan with an OBRA official he brought me back to reality by pointing out the fact that it was an active racer on the bike not a thief.
