It was great. There were costumes, my favorite being Brad Ross uber
Euro polka dot climbers jersey. Shorts and short sleeves in 30
degrees. And no gloves. Gloves are not Euro, nor sexy. Such is Brad
Ross.
Deschutes was pouring beer out of a trailer shaped like an old school
wooden keg. The course was lined with screaming fans. It was loud.
I don't remember who won. Coker came in second with a crash induced
crooked seat and was intensly disappointed at loosing his crown. It's
not every day you race for Champion of the Universe, you know.
