If you are one of the brave soles to have raced the USGP of Cyclocross in Portland and Nationals in Bend these past two weekends your cyclocross season has finally come to an end. No doubt your body is tired due to your full-on efforts. Even if you didn't race cyclocross this year you have likely started those epic weekend training rides and have incorporated some weights into your program or maybe you're taking up skiing for the winter.

I wanted to introduce myself and tell you about my massage practice, just in case you are feeling the need for some added rest and recovery.

My name is Colleen McClenahan. A little tidbit about my practice and how I work:I’ve been in practice for over 9 years and I am devoted to helping recreational and serious athletes; individuals who are experiencing limitations, pain or injuries; women who are expecting; and anyone who wants to indulge in a relaxation massage. I tailor my work to each individual’s need, which is revealed by our conversation prior to each treatment. I listen with my hands, I am constantly aware of my client’s non-verbal and verbal communications, and my technique is slow and deliberate. My massage background is in Therapeutic Massage (myofascial and deep muscle work or relaxation) and Prenatal Massage.

My practice is located in Multnomah Village at 7409 SW Capitol Hwy, Suite 206 and my phone number is 503.816.4179. My office hours are: Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Fridays 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. My rates are $40 for 30 minutes; $60 for 60 minutes; and $80 for 90 minutes.

I also practice massage out of West Side Athletic Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My hours are Tuesdays 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Thursdays 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The rates for non-members are: $45 for 30 minutes; $60 for 60 minutes; and $80 for 90 minutes.
