Is the Athena limit 1.0714 Contadors, or 1.1429 Contadors?

Thanks,
Sarah

The assumption is that a "Contador" remains constant at 140 lbs. So a
Clydesdale is 1.428 Contadors.

There were two of em ! And I imagine greatly relieved to see they had company. One gal was wearing a miniskirt and the other had Velo Bella kit (Beth, that wasn't you was it?).

Hi Beth, there was some talk throughout the season that the Athena's should and could race with your brothers in arms the Clydes.I would welcome and cheer any Athena that races with us. BTW, wasn't there at least one at the Clydesdale of the Universe race?

I've been intrigued by the whole Clyde thing in my first full season of racing, especially after I learned that I'm not too terribly far away from qualifying for Athena class myself.
Seriously?
I'm no East German Weightlifter but gee whiz, if all I have to do is NOT look like some heroin chic supermodel, then the whole thing is based on a really WACKY sense of body image -- even for athletes.

Still, you have to applaud the Clydes -- and I do -- for their relentless sense of fun. They set the cause for outrageous humor forward by decades in Bend and I hope they'll bring their infectious hilarity back next year, to Cross Crusade and Nationals! In all levels and disciplines of racing, I don't think you can ever have enough of that energy.
Thanks for keeping it real and see you at short-track next year!
Beth
