Geoff Huber
Well I have to say that I really appreciate all the support I have received over the last couple of days. I am very lucky to have so many close friends, a loving family, and an angel of a wife to help me through these next couple of months. I will be purchasing health insurance for next year...no surprise there, and I will come out of this experience a better person. I am lucky my injuries were not more severe. It is not uncommon that a broken sternum results in heart lacerations, punctured/collapsed lungs etc. The fact that I did not need surgery for any of my wounds is also a blessing. Under different circumstances my crash could have required me to have emergency open heart surgery...a very serious situation I was lucky enough to avoid. I still don't have any idea who the other guy is...and I probably will never know his name. I just hope he takes a good look at himself and realizes that racing dirty is a cowards cover for lacking talent and
fitness. Be safe out there...train hard, and I will see ya'll in 2010. Geoff
