Bob Libby
I was picking up a teammate this morning for a super early start to a long mountain bike ride. In the 10 minutes between going in and coming out some godless scumbag nicked my Niner off the car. This person was kind enough to leave their janky Mongoose Rockadile next to my car, sans front wheel, which I'm guessing they put on my Niner so they could ride away with it. I have proof of ownership.
Stolen today between 3:20 and 3:30 am, near 21st & SE Clinton
Large Niner SIR9 frame, gold, set up as a singlespeed
black Niner steel fork
Thomson setback seatpost/WTB saddle
Thomoson 100mm stem/Salsa flat bars, super wide, 11 degree sweep/Ergon grips
XTR M960 crank modified to singlespeed with a custom 32t red chainring - very distinctive!
two fancy plasticky Specialized bottle cages
Crank Bros. pedals
BB7 brakes/Speed Dial levers
Stan's Arch rear rim/black Hope Pro2 singlespeed hub with QR/Schwalbe Little Albert tire
may or may not still have a GPS mount on the right side of the bars
may or may not still have a rear fender ziptied to the seat tube
may or may not still have a front fender attached to the fork
may or may not still have a Mountain Feedbag handlebar bag
may be being ridden around with a shitty 26" or other obviously not correct front wheel, so probably has no functioning front brake
If you run across this bike or if it wanders into your shop accompanied by a BS story PLEASE contact me ASAP. I don't really expect to see it again but since it was my bike for Old Pueblo in February I'd be pretty happy to get it back. After driving around hoping to see it I went home and got another bike so we could get the ride in anyway, which was phenomenal, so my day did have that one bright spot.
Thanks!!!!
