The 1st Annual Black Canyon Classic road race showcases the beautiful cherry
orchards and world-renowned Payette River of Emmett, Idaho. This 13-mile
course is relatively flat, with some brief rolling climbs and descents. The
start/finish is in downtown Emmett, with lots of great spots for watching
the races unfold.
Classes & Race Times
Citizens Race 1 lap starting at 9
a.m.
Men Cats. 1 and 2 6 laps starting at 10
a.m.
Men Cat. 3, Men Masters 35-45, 5 laps starting at 10:05 a.m.
Women Cats. 1, 2, 3
Men Cats. 4/5, Men Masters 45+, 4 laps starting at 10:10 a.m.
Women Masters & Cat. 4
Prize purse = 60% minimum cash payback, with payouts 5 deep in each class.
Pre-registration post-marked by July 31: $25 (Mail check, payable to
Mountain Velo Cycling Team, and the entry form below, to Idaho Mountain
Touring, 1310 Main Street, Boise, Id 83702. Same-day registration will be
available for $30 until 8:30 a.m. on race day.)
