Re: Police being the "boss"

Well, it was "The Boss" who wrote,
"Driving out of Darlington County,
My eyes seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
Driving out of Darlington County,
Seen Wayne handcuffed to the bumper of a state trooper's Ford."

So, apparently Wayne forgot to put his foot down at a stop sign.

(Lyrics from "Darlington County," from the 1984 album, "Born In the USA.")

He is the Boss in the sense that he can arrest you, tase you, or use deadly
force on you if the situation escalates.

I was just reading the responses to Mr. Fitzwater's account of being stopped
by the police.

I read this line:

I am pretty sure I would not be trying to take a photo of an officer while
he/she is in control of the situation... which even when this type of
escalation takes place... the officer is the boss.

I'm sorry but I take issue with that. If you were in the office and "the
boss" treated you so abusively and disrespectfully how long would you take
it? They are supposed to protect and serve, yet we hear lots of stories of
petty bullying.

I'm sorry but I take issue with that. If you were in the office and
"the boss" treated you so abusively and disrespectfully how long
would you take it? They are supposed to protect and serve, yet we
