Is the Silverton RR happening this year?

It is in a bit more than 2 weeks and there is no link to a web site nor can I find one with Google.

Correct-

Just as an FYI for all racers: We do not link flyers until all the
paperwork, permit fee and flyer are received and approved. In some
cases this may include course inspection.

Thanks for your patience.

The races is on, with an added tandem field this year, but OBRA has to approve and post our flyer before we can promote the race on this list.

Stay tuned . . . I'm sure they'll post it soon.

Some last-minute details:

There is a feed zone for all races, either on one of the last hills

before the start/finish, or at the bottom of the second climb (labelled

"Waldo Hills" on the course map). Check at registration or the start of

your race for the final word. Unless we get an avalanche of unexpected

volunteers, there will be _no_ neutral feeds. Sorry we forgot about this

until now -- I guess feed zones are a good idea in a 90 mile road race.

Don't forget that the Masters 35+ Men's race is category 3 and 4 only.

Cat 3 and 4 Masters, here's a chance to flex your muscles. Cat 1 and 2

Masters will have to do the Pro/1/2 race.

We can always use more volunteers, either in the morning (8:00 am - 1:00

pm) or afternoon (1:00-5:30 pm). Volunteers race for free.

This is the same course as Victor Point RR, which is different than the

old Silverton RR. Registration is at Victor Point School _not_ in

downtown Silverton.

Weather forecast is for 67 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Hope to see

you all out there for one of Oregon's classic road courses.
