I wanted to publicly acknowledge all of the hard work that G.S. Camerati and Capitol Velo put in to give us a fantastic weekend of racing.



It was a pleasure to race the Victor Pt. course where it looked like a lot of riders were honing their fitness for the coming wave of stage races. G.S. Camerati did a great job of running a smooth event.



As for the Silverton Crit, this is one of the best races of the year. In so many places we have to fight tooth and nail for the privilege of racing on public streets, whereas the good people of Silverton come out to support the race. The race has now taken root and is an annual event for that neighborhood. It looks like several houses on the course now hold barbecues on race day to watch the spectacle! Steve Yenne has done a great job of keeping this race vibrant and welcome.
