Re-use bike innertubes-- as bungies!

Or just cut out the section with the valve and tie each end into a
loop. Multiple tubes can be tied end to end. You can secure a
surprising amount of cargo that way.

This company makes the coolest thing for re-use of innertubes:
buckles! You can re-use your innertube as a bungie-type strap. I
certainly have use for this sort of thing for securing cargo, etc. in
my car. Ultra-light/super-thin tubes don't work so well-- they're
less stretchy and more prone to tearing.

I've found the it-clips at REI.
