OBRA-land,
The city of Beaverton has been working hard to make certain all new roadways built in it's limits that can sustain a bike lane, have one.
Now City Transportation Engineer Jabra Khasho is proposing a plan to place bike lanes on one of Beaverton's oldest streets, Lombard between Denney & Farmington.
I don't have to tell you what a big deal this is if you use it as part of your bike commute so please attend the next Beaverton Traffic Commission meeting on March 4th at 7pm in Bvtn City Hall. Let your voice be heard (for or against)!
Plans like this have a long way to go but definitely need public support along the way.
