Trek 5200/5500 52 cm FOR SALE
It is something of a mixed bag but in good condition. ?It was my wifes first
serious bike when she started racing. ?The bike was always a bit small for
her & she upgraded back in 98 to a Litespeed. ?She had a baby in 2000 so she
does not ride seriously anymore & does not need the extra bike. ?I have used
it for time trials in the past few years.
What it is:
The original bike was a 1993 Trek 5200 52cm center to top with
shimano ultegra. The original frame was replaced in 95 with a "Saturn"
silver 5500 frame. Somewhere about the same time the rear STI shifter
died so we bought a slightly used set of Dura Ace STI shifters and rear
derailleur to replace with. The seat is an old slightly worn Flite. ?The
front wheel ended up being a 36 spoke ultegra hub campy hardox rim. ?The
handlebars
are 42 c-c but I have several pairs of smaller ones if preffered.
