Scappoose still closed?

Will all. At that meeting it was stated that logging was planned for the area and it was important to abide by no entry postings when that logging started.
I was out there twice this week and this morning with my dogs hiking. There have been people riding. There are no signs stating the area is closed. In fact it is beautiful out there right now. Enough dry days that the overall conditions are quite nice. But only if you want to go ride your bike on a nice day. Keep in mind that the property owners are planning on logging some of the area. They will post everything clearly when they start. DO NOT ENTER WHEN THEY ARE LOGGING. FYI the have started logging an area up toward the top of RP road, but not in area of trails yet. Again... if the gate is open... DO NOT ENTER and same goes if they have the signs up regarding active logging in process (those say no public entry as well). The logging taking place up above right now is going to mean an increase in heavy trucks using the road. They were working today when I was out there. Be careful and courteous. I do not know (maybe someone does) when the logging will start in areas that will impact existing trails (heck it may be Monday for all we know).

First I have heard of this and was planning on riding out there this morning. Anyone know any more details? All the trails at Scappoose are closed?

Thanks, Ben

As per the last NWTA meeting, Scappoose was announced closed. Any idea how long? Indefinitely? I'm assuming the fine is pretty hefty.
