body{font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:10pt;font-family:arial,sans-serif;background-color:#ffffff;color:black;}p{margin:0px}On a side note, I (without bicycle) visited the Seattle Colonnade Park MTB Skills Park today.  I'm really impressed with what they have built (and continue to build) in such a small space.  For an XC/short track guy like me, some of the features were kind of scary, but the conversation I had with one of the builders focused on the builds being inclusive to all users (beginner course near the bottom, good signage for difficulty levels, etc) and that courteous use is paramount.  The park is still frequented by walkers, runners, and there is a fenced dog off-leash park at the bottom as well.

If you're not familiar with the Colonnade Park, I'd be happy to e-mail you some photos (taken with my phone...) if you'd like to see.

The future Greenway project off of the 205 Bike Path is a start, but the Seattle Colonnade really opened my eyes as to what can be accomplished within the urban boundaries.

"Illegal biking trail cut through Forest Park called 'vandalism'"

Think that Dan Moeller (city employee in pic) has raced the Crusade
some in the past.
Not commenting, just thought people would like to know.
