The kids are finally too big, and we can't justify keeping our beloved cargo-bike any longer.

Features:
- Dark blue
- The longer version - with the long wooden box in front
- removable second seat up front (3 seat belts total between both seats)
- Brooks B-73 saddle (black w/ a rain cover)
- Shimano 8-speed internal rear hub w/ rotary shifter
- sidewall generator driven Busch & Müller front and rear lights
- silver foul-weather canopy
- Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires
- seat pad for the rear seat
- stainless rims, spokes & steel fenders
- skirt and long-coat protector over the rear wheel

This bike has been parked in it's own spot in a 2-car garage for the last couple of years. It has been ridden in the rain, but never left in the rain. It has been lovingly maintained by myself and the the wonderful folks over at CleverCycles, although I will admit, it has never needed much maintenance. These bikes are pretty rugged.

I have, in the last few months, replaced both the front and rear tubes. These Schwalbe tires don't often get flats (I've had 3 in 3 years - all from tire-chain-metal on the roadway after a snow) but I had fixed a few flats with patches on the original tubes and I felt they should be replaced for the next owner. The back seat has been lowered by CleverCycles — about an inch and a half lower than the original seat-height to accommodate my two boys' heads under the rain canopy (as they've grown like weeds in the last 2 years). So there are a few extra holes drilled into the side walls of the wooden box.

Currently the Bakfiets + the Brooks saddle + the weather canopy + the addition of the second seat and seat pad makes this a $3,100 bike brand new. We're selling it for $2,300 (firm).
