I agree completely with Eric. I would add that it is important to weigh over 200 pounds and put egg nog in your bottle during winter training rides.

You have to be really tall. You should have at least a 63cm frame, and a 150mm stem.
Furthermore, you should be using a mt bike seat post, as a normal roadie seat post isn't
quite long enough.
In my completely unbiased opinion, these are definitely prerequisites for the primo supremo
roadie.

Any tips on general "style" of riding...like posture, saddle height, cadence/gearing, clothing, clean/dirty equipment, attitude/facial expression, pocketfood, _____?
We could really compile a list of what (you think) is the perfect rider!
...Personally, I dig shiny helmets...
