I am selling my 2008 Specialized Epic Marathon Carbon mountain bike. $2,995 to OBRA members.(May entertain other offers to keep it local) MSRP was around $6,800. This is a great XC machine. I hate to be selling this as it is a high end XC Race and all around trail bike, handles like a sports car in all conditions. I raced a couple races with it and few other rides then had foot surgery and then back surgery, now I am on the road more than the trails, at least for now, so this thing needs a home to get rode/raced like it should. Needless to say it has low miles on it and I have taken meticulous care of it. It has only one pair of scratches on one seat stay (purely cosmetic) otherwise it is perfect. I am a skinny 42 year old and don't do all that crazy big drop thrash your bike parts stuff so it safe to say it is in pristine condition. The "Brain" controlled rear suspension is absolutely awesome, climbs like a hard-tail descends the full suspension that is. It has a translucent orange clear coat so you can see the beautiful carbon weave in it. I have photos that I can send if you are interested.
