First off it has been great racing and talking with many of you this year.

After not racing and only promoting and riding the last 11 years I sure have



had fun out there this year.



I need your help the BLM has bonded me for the 2002 season at Shotgun Creek

and that bond is due Friday. PLEASE PRE-REG IF YOU CAN.



I am offering a great special all 3 of my races(Shotgun 1 &2 and Oakridge)

for ONLY $60 or $30 JR's...plus 3 free shirts. You should have got a flyer

by now...if not please contact me.



The reason for the bond is that someone built jumps on my downhill course

last year and the BLM wasn't too happy about that. Even though the area is

used by motorcycles too...they decided because it happened around the time

of

my race it was done by Mt. bikers, so I have to pay a bond this year so I

can

have any races cross country or downhill out there.



I had hoped more people would pre-reg by now and this wouldn't be an issue,

but I still need more $$ to cover the bond. On top of the bond I have

already had to pay a $100 a day use fee. Plus after the race I have to pay

the BLM a $5 a racer fee...I am not whinning I just wanted to let you know

some of the cost of using BLM land.



Now for the good news the courses look great this year.
