On Sunday, the saddest possible thing could have happened to a collegiate cyclist. I cracked my carbon road frame. It was on a hood rack and went under a low overhead. Long story short, I'm without a bike and in desperate need of one as we enter the middle of the collegiate season.
I was wondering if anyone had a bike I could temporarily borrow (possibly race on only) until I get my funds straight? This would be just this weekend for a race in Bellingham/Seattle.
I race for the University of Oregon, so if anyone in the Eugene area has a bike or friend with a raceable bike that's approx a 51cm, PLEASE let me know.
Please help out a poor college kid without a bike and no one left to turn to. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
