Phil Miller
A fairly common practice when faced with the need to divide a race is
to split randomly (we used odd/even #'s at Sequim so it would be
easier to communicate who went where...)
While I can understand why one would want to keep their team at full
strength in a split field, that would hardly be considered a fair
resolution to other riders in the race...
