Advice needed-gear, tips etc. for credit card camping for 7 days on road bike (yellowstone area)

Do a light loaded tour to ensure a place to sleep. A bike will not be
turned away from a campground, usually anyway. Hauling a bit of gear
makes you stronger. A bivi sac and sleeping bag do not weigh much. -Tom

old glory. a usa flag. they may hate cyclist but put a flag off the back of your rack and your a patriot.

just a little one like a diplomats car. they will see it because they will be watching.*

when a dog chases dont sprint like a fool. stay calm and just keep riding until the dog is close then yell no while pointing away from you. if dog runs the direction your pointing just keep riding. if not go like hell. if caugt keep bike between you and animal. mace works well just be mindful of wind. nothing worse then macing yourself (except getting mauled)

graz

*only works in US do not use anywhere, else go canadian or swiss

Having traveled there all lodging requires you reserve way in advance. Even the campgrounds require you to book way in advance. You can not just roll in and get camping or lodging. They are always full.
Have fun. It is really pretty up there
