I am still confused about the fusson the road side. There was an open bid process and anyone/ club could apply only one did and naturally it was picked.

Why do the people in the Portland area always have to travel so far to do the mountain bike XC championship? Maybe the people that are complaining about how far away the road championships are should take up XC mountain biking instead!
