Yesterday I took a nasty fall in the rain coming down Corbett past the
International School when I was accidentally cut off by a left-turning
vehicle leaving the school. Thankfully, I'm all in tact (with the exception
of some whiplash) and the bike only needs a new rear wheel. I don't know the
name of the nice person who gave me a lift in to work yesterday, but he said
he had friends who rode De Ronde on Saturday. If you (or your friends who
can pass this along) are out there somewhere, I just wanted again to say
thank you. I really appreciated the ride and your willingness to put my
quite dirty, mangled bike into your very pretty, clean Toyota. You, Sir, are
a scholar and a gentleman.
