VOLUNTEER AS AN INTERSECTION SUPERHERO

Portland Sunday Parkways is our dream event. On one day, over 25,000 of our
neighbors are going to get out of their cars and out of their houses to
bike, run, skate, walk and play together. There will be 5 events this year,
and together they're going to show over 100,000 people what it's like to
have no cars on 6 miles of roads for 6 hours.

If you support this event, then we're asking you to step up and support it
where we most need it - Volunteer as an Intersection Superhero.

Our first event on Sunday, May 16th needs 91 intersections monitored to keep
event participants safe from vehicles. We have 2 shifts during the day, so
we need only 182 people to agree that this community event is important
enough to spend 3.5 hours of service to make it happen. All 5 events, in
NE, N, E, NE and NW Portland, need the same help. We must cover all the
intersections to ensure safety and growth of the event.

Here's my ask today. Sign up for 1 Intersection Superhero volunteer shift
at one of the five Portland Sunday Parkways events. Sign up for 3.5 hours
of work, get a free Sunday Parkways t-shirt, and then enjoy the rest of the
events.
