WEBCYCLERY MOVIE NIGHT @ McMENAMINS
Old St Francis School Movie Theater
The Collective
9:00 p.m. | $5 per person | 21 & over
WebCyclery brings you the critics pick for best mountain bike film of 2004 - and the movie that showed that serious mountain bike videos can also be artistic and beautifully shot..
The Collective takes a new look at Free Riding, with artistic camera angles, a perfect blend of music and commentary, with footage that every mountain biker can relate to. Not just a Freeride film full of cliff drops and crashes, The Collective puts you on the single track, over the North Shore bridges, and trials riding through the urban jungle (of Portland, Oregon!) with some of the sports most talented riders.
Shot on 16mm film with camera angles that seemingly put the camera operators in more danger than the riders - The Collective is the film that popularized the use of camera booms and zip lines.
WebCyclery Movie Night at McMenamins is a fund raiser for Central Oregon Trail Alliance (cotamtb.com).
