Well things are shaping up to great weekend for racing out at the Bear Spring Trap XC

Few things to remember about this race:

Faxable & online registration: ends this Thursday the 22nd at midnight that’s tomorrow! Click on link to access paper work and event flyer for Bear Springs Trap http://mthoodadventurepark.com/races.htm There are entry forms to print, then fax. When you fax we do not take any payment until you check in at on-site registration on Sat or Sun. Remember we are in the woods so NO CREDIT CARDS, cash or check only!

On-site Registration Times & fees: Saturday: 11am – 2:30pm then 5pm – 7pm (No late fees) ($40 short track & XC or $25 for just XC)
Sunday: 8am – 10:30am add $5 late fee = $30 (Registration closed at 10:30 sharp to allow for processing DON’T BE LATE)

Remember when you show up to registration please have you OBRA license or proof of purchase w/ OBRA #
We will be issuing race plates on-site so leave that blank on entry form.
You will need to have a NW Forest Pass to camp & park they are NOT sold on-site


Event Details: Saturday Short Track race 3pm (Categories based on number of entries, awards given at end of short track race on Saturday)
Sunday Cross Country race 11am start for Pro/CAT I, 11:10am for CAT II, and 11:20 for CAT III (start times subject to change awards following last rider in finish area)

Check out the pictures below. They are taken by Crew out working the trails hard to make them as pristine as you remember, and this year even better. Pre ride the course on Saturday to see for yourself, maps available at registration.

steep, but then again I don't know the idiosyncrasies of putting on such an

The short track fee includes the XC race as well if I am not mistaken.

Just curious as I don't have a clue what it takes to put on a race, but why is the short track race so expensive? $40 for a short period of pain seems steep, but then again I don't know the idiosyncrasies of putting on such an event.
