The Chainbreaker is coming up rapidly - May 9th - Mothers Day!
If you've been working on getting a first time female or young junior to try out a mountain bike race - this is a great opportunity.
The course will be fully marked and open to ride on Saturday May 8th. Before that, you won't be able to find your way around unless you really know the course.
Heidi Faller and the Bend Bellas will be leading a womens only pre-
ride of the course the weekend before on Saturday May 1.
The course will not be marked but she will show you the way.
Women should ride or drive to the parking lot at Shevlin Park and
we'll carpool up to the race course from there - leaving the parking
lot at 10AM sharp and then driving to Skyline Forest to the start of
the race course. You do not have to be registered to race to attend
the womens-only free pre-ride.
Aggro boys who show up at the womens May 1st pre-ride will be
ridiculed and could have rocks thrown at them.
