Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Dear Northwest Riders,

I wanted to give all of you who came out this past weekend to The Dalles, Oregon to race the 2nd annual Cherry Blossom Cycling Classic a hearty thanks for making it such a great event. We saw some tremendous racing over the weekend and from Water's Edge and The Dalles Chamber of Commerce we would like to thank you for your support and participation.

My apologies regarding stage 2. I really thought on paper that this stage would be easier than last year's mountainous road race but with the super aggressive racing it turned into one amazingly hard stage. Hopefully it was not to scaring for those who raced it. The one bright spot regarding stage 2 is while the gravel section was a decisive part of the race strategically it proved to be a smooth and fun part of the course with very few flats and no accidents. We would love to hear your input on the new stage 2. Was it good, bad, ugly or all of the above. Fire us an email at info@cherryblossomclassic.com and let us know your thoughts.
