Hi,
Thank you so much for all of the comments regarding the first annual Elkhorn Classic Stage Race. This was the first race that my wife and I have ever promoted and it was an exhilarating experience for both of us. This race would not have been possible without so much support from Baker City, the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association, the volunteers, and especially all of you hard hammering racers. All of the comments that I received from Baker City were extremely positive about the peleton and the racing. They are excited to have us back. Your enthusiasm in the face of difficult courses and even more challenging weather was inspirational to those of us watching. After this year there is no way that my wife, Claire, and I can say no to another year of racing in Baker City. We are already excited about the prospects of making the second annual Elkhorn Classic Stage Race a better event than the first. THE SECOND ANNUAL ELKHORN CLASSIC STAGE RACE Friday June 6th, Saturday June 7th, and Sunday June 8th, 2003 IN BAKER CITY, OREGON. OBRA and permit pending.
