This Thursday night is the last of the 2010 Port of Hood River Criteriums. We've had our best year ever and would love to go out on a record. It would be amazing if we could break 100 riders - consider it a birthday present to my new daughter! Or, even better, let's have a record women's field and show her how the ladies race!
I've attached the point totals for the series and it looks like some of the fields are quite close. Should be an exciting night of racing. Mother Nature looks like she's cooking up a fairly standard evening of April showers. This week's restaurant drawing is for a gift certificate to Brian's Pourhouse. Remember this week is our 2nd Annual Geezer Night and we've tweaked the schedule a bit to let OBRA's elder statesmen have a run at glory. Here's what the night will look like:
5:30 PM - Category 4/5 and Juniors (25 minutes)
6:00 PM - Category 3/4 and Women (25 minutes)
6:30 PM - Masters 40+ and Masters 50+/60+ (40 minutes)
7:15 PM - Category 1/2/3 (45-60 minutes)
If you love racing in the Gorge and found Cherry Blossom's new "easier" Stage 2 too hard, come out for some real pancake flat racing!
