Touring bike for sale - very good condition - very little use.

TREK 500 series

Reynolds 501, Chromemoly butted frame

Size: Seat tube is 21" from center of bottom bracket to top of tube.

           Top tube is 19 1/2 " from the seat tube to the front fork tube

           Top tube is 31 1/2" from ground.

DiaComp, Royal Comp side pull brakes

Sansin, Gyromaster quick release hubs front and back

Sakae AX 52/42 tooth aluminum crank

Sugino aluminum seat post.

Continental high pressure tires (120 lbs pressure)



My neighbor paid $475 for it years ago. The bike shop says the equivilent

bike today goes for about $500 to $600. Any offer will be accepted. Whatever

you think a fair price is and want to pay will be OK.



My neighbors husband, who raced competitively, bought this for his wife.

She hardly used it. Now he is into mountian biking. He bought her a

mountian bike and he told her to get this one out of the garage. This is a

great road bike and I hate to see it go to some kid at a garage sale who

will just trash it. If you know of serious biker who would like this

please let them know.
