The pain is in the left knee, below (not underneath) the kneecap towards

the outside of the knee joint. It is a sharp pain that varies in

intensity, keeping it moving (as opposed to immobilized) seems to help.

I'm not sure if taking it easy will heal this, if anyone has had a

similar injury or knowledge of this, I would like to hear from you. The

sharpness of the pain has me worried, not a typical dull pain like

tendonitis.

Should I see a doctor right away, or wait to see if rest takes care of

it?

Thanks,

John Henry
