Hey guys,

I am working with the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic as the team/rider liaison. The numbers for the stand alone cat 2 event are currently very low. How many of you are planning on racing but have yet to register? We are looking for 40 riders before May 17th or will need to combine the cat 2 field with the pro, 1 field.

As a rider, I understand that there is some expense to get a USAC license in order to race. But, this is a great investment for a number of reasons. First, it offers upgrade points towards a cat 1 license if that is something that you are seeking. Second, the USAC license will also allow you to race at Elite Nationals and the Cascade Cycling Classic.

If anyone has any questions, comments or concerns about the event, please contact me OFF LIST. I dont want to get a huge thread going on the OBRA list.
