This is a device for replacing the freewheeling mechanism on a cassette type
hub so it can be used as a fixed gear. I don't think that is what Dan was
looking for.

I've never seen one up close, but it looks like there is a thread on track
extender deal for freewheel type tri-spoke wheels. If anyone knows what
I'm talking about or knows where I can get one I'd appreciate a heads up.
