Pronunciation of Farrar, Nibali

*pedant alert*

It's KNEE - bah - lee:

While we're at it, Phil & Paul sometimes still say lee - key - gas,
but it's lee - kwee - gas (around 0:48):

Bonus pronunciation of pel - litz - oh - tee there as well.

Well, now we're getting into a case of English not having a sound that the other language, in this case Dutch (or Flemish?), has.
I guess it'd actually be said more like "KHE-sink".

Have you kept track of all the ways Phil Liggett is saying "Tjallingii?"

what about Robert Gesink's name? Gogulsky on USN pronounces it "hay-SINK" but Phil and Paul say Gesink with a hard g and emphasis on 1st syllable.

"Farrah" is the correct pronunciation.

(all the folks who were lucky enough to make it to the RCB event know.) ;)

Phil and Paul say Ni-BAL-i, but the main announcer on USN says -NI-bali. The guys on USN also say Tyler Farrah, as in Farrah Fawcett. I tend to trust Phil and Paul on Nibali (as I trust them on basically everything), and "Farrah" just seems wrong.

Does anyone know for certain how to pronounce Nibali and Farrar?

Thanks.

Just pronounce it like the Belgian commentators do on Sporza.

I've discovered one thing the web isn't good for: pronunciation of names. I'm unable to find out how to pronounce Nibali (as in Vincenzo) or Farrar (as in Tyler), so I'm asking OBRA-land.
