On the last weekend of this month there are 3 different races going on, a DH at black rock, a super D at hood river and the XC at sisters. And that isn't the only weekend like that, there has been and will be many more racing conflicts in the racing calendar, where people will have to pick what races to do. This isn't good for super D which should be attracting XC and DH racers, but won't because there are XC races on the same day or a day apart but a few hundred miles away (like the 6 hours of mt. hood and ashland super D).
You race organizers need to start collaborating more on a schedule, especially if you want more people to show up to your events. For instance the super D could have been this weekend, allowing more people to compete in it and then the XC race next weekend....
