CX fork recommendation

Hey All,

I did my first CX season last year. I'm hooked. I've got a buddy at Rogue
Cycle Works (http://www.roguebikeworks.com/) who's going to build me a
dedicated CX bike. Last year I competed on my full suspension MTB
(Specialized S-Works Epic).

But - before we can start to work up frame geometry for the build, I need to
get a front CX fork. Are there any good recommendations out there for a CX
fork, that won't totally break the bank (say; in the $200 to $400 max,
range)?

As I mentioned, I'm used to riding on a MTB with lots of front suspension -
so I think I'm probably looking for a fork that's going to be "plush", or
maybe even a CX specific suspension fork (if a good one exists?).

I'm 6'3", 225 lbs - so no whimpy components. Thanks for any pointers ... !

Shane
