The new Umpqua Road Race in Roseburg is this weekend!

The new 40 mile road race on May 30th will have a tandem category. And they've announced a criterium the day before on May 29th - which will also have a tandem category! The tandems will run last, in the evening, and should give you plenty of time to get to Roseburg on Saturday before racing at 8PM. Excellent!

The race is being put on with help from Ryan and Amy Champion so you know that the racing is going to be fun and fast! Hope you can make the drive to Roseburg to join us all.

ROAD: UMPQUA ROAD RACE, May 30 - Roseburg, OR
A new road race for 2010 to be held in Roseburg, Oregon. There will be a tandem class and we expect this to be the toughest/best new tandem race of 2010. Race distance for the tandems will be about 40 miles. Flat for the first 5 miles out to the loop - two times around the 15 mile loop, which contains a good climb near the end (up to 10%) - and then the flat 5 back to the finish. There's a tandem crit the day before (see above) so make a weekend out of it!
