Hi Everyone,
One week to go to the Vernonia Short Track Mt. Bike Race on Saturday, June 12, 2010.  Weather forecast is for Sunny and 75. 
Support the City of Vernonia and their volunteers who are working really hard to build a beautiful bicycle park for all to enjoy.  Be one of the first to ride and race in the park. $5 parking fee goes to support the park development.

MOST CATEGORIES of any Short Track RACE: We were asked to add a Clydesdale Cat for the Men. We  said YES so please come out and support it by racing. Clydesdale Men will be racing at 12:05pm with the Cat 3 men but scored separately.  We also have a separate SingleSpeed Cat for Women, 55+ for Men and Women, Juniors  cats, and more....... 
Registration:
Advanced registration is still available on line until Thursday June 10th at 3pm. For registration and more information on the race go to http://www.obra.org/flyers/2010/vernonia_short_track.html.   $5 late fee added day of race registration  (except for Jrs.)  so register now.

Meet Mr.Mike Pihl the Axe-man of reality TV fame http://www.history.com/shows/ax-men.  He will be at the race to meet you and sign autographs from 11am to 1pm

Parking: 
Parking will be at Washington Grade School at 199 Bridge Street. 

Food and drinks will be for sale by the Vernonia Lyons Club at Vernonia Lake.
