(1) In addition to the mtb races this Saturday (6/12), Legacy & Trauma Nurses will be selling helmets for only $5 at the Sunset Bike Fair (at Sunset Presbyterian Church) as well as in Vancouver at the Healthy Kids Fair taking place at the Salmon Creek Medical Center. Both events are from 10am - 2pm. Beaverton Police will be doing a bike rodeo for the Sunset Bike fair as well.

(2) Work on the fence many have seen pop up at the spot where the Fanno Creek trail meets Hall Blvd on the south side has halted pending "community outreach" which THPRD has fully admitted as a mistake on their part with respect to the process of any project. The issue is on the June agenda for THPRD.

(3) The issue of placing bike lanes on Lombard is slated for the Beaverton City Council's June 28th meeting. The date may change so check out the website: http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/council/meetings/currentmeetings.aspx
