I'd like to add something else to Candi's list.
4. If you and others are dropped and you know others have been as well, try and work with those riders. I was dropped last week and I waited for the two riders that had been dropped behind me and the 3 of us worked together. It makes it so much easier in the headwinds to ride as a group. Plus we were able to catch a couple other riders that if we were riding individually we may not have caught.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Racing at pir
I am sitting out at pir watching the races. The are a few things that need to be addressed, that may not be covered in the instructions.
1. If you are dropped from the main group you should ride on the outside of the courae. Definitely not up against the inside wall. And definitely not in the middle of the course. This applys to individual riders and smaller groups that are no longer in contact with their main field.
2. All riders finish on the leaders lap. Do not continue to ride on the course. Exit immediately and safely as there are likely other fields out competing.
3. When your field is being overtaken, the slower field must slow down "neutralize" and not resume racing until the pass has been completed. Do not try to catch the field that just passed you.
Please share these with riders who may not be on the chat list.
Candi
