Ron and Dorothy Strasser
Beth, All,
In my view the PIR short track course, no matter how wicked the course is
designed each week.... is MEANT to be ridden on a singlespeed. I rode it on
a geared bike tonight and only shifted until I found the right gear that
allowed me rip. But it just did not produce that teen angst/euphoria of my
ss. I think you will get your women singlespeed numbers. In years past
when I actually was able to race in the ss cat as well as my sport/cat 2
race, I had my butt cleaned by some women riding ss. Everyone still has a
week to clean and lube the bike. Fear not. There are women out there who
will do all they can to make you finish 11th. :-)
