Many e-mails on tire choice......I rode the course yesterday....only panama
canal (last trail was gooey) and had the most squish...that being said the
chance of rain in 20-30%, but the forest canopy is dense...so dense that
while riding we could hear the rain but it did not penetrate the fortress of
big trees. I would give it a 85% dry rating....little damp, but no big deal
at all
So.....I would run some Captains.....bit more bit up front and a not quite
semi slick in the rear for speed. Some new logging 2 miles from the school
has created some very high centered double track.......nice lip to
wreck...so hold your line for the first mile after the neutral mass start.
