Another example of how AEDs should be mandatory in every building. If there
is one near by you can easily save someone's life.

For those who did not follow my post about Marshal from Blodgett
(Firefighter and Bike wash) he is recovering after suffering a heart attack
responding to a fire just down the road from the Test Of Endurance
START/FINISH. Ben Parsons (Hammer Nutrition from Montana called in the fire
accross the street (BBQ out of control/grease fire) from the county road and
when Marshal came down from providing a tanker of water (very convienent) he
suffered a heart attack. Ben Parsons is a field EMT in Montana and quickly
responded starting CPR. Marshals Wife was also our emt on site and once
arriving for the Fire, quickly brought out her AED and Ben utilized the AED
to bring Marshal out of V-fib. Marshal had Surgury and is not out of the
woods yet......just thought I would let all of OBRA know how great of a job
Ben did along with his friend Alan Swanson in taking charge and saving a
life.

Thanks for all the great comments and heartfelt wishes for Marshal and the
Blodgett community
