I would like to thank everyone for coming out to Shotgun today.



I am truely sorry about the BEG cones being moved and the late start for the

other classes, but I promise you I didn't wake up and say gee I hope the

cones get moved and in the process of trying to fix it I put van in the ditch

hahaha



In case you left the story on the cones is motorcycle riders moved them

because they were upset about all the bikes and limited access...I promise

after 6+ races out there I know how the course goes and where to mark.



I want people to know that I MIGHT I STRESS MIGHT move the State Championship

from Shotgun to Oakridge....Just to be clear there will still be the JULY 13-

14 Cascade Fat Tire Festival....I would have another race Aug 4 in

Oakridge...more then likely the same course only ran the other direction and

instead of using Awbery MT to get over we would use Eugene to Crest Trail, so

they would be two totally different courses.   I made a call the the Forest

Service to see if I can even do this I will let people know ASAP by e-mail

and then do another flyer mailing...as I said this is just an idea...I'll

keep you posted. This would also be better because many top riders are doing

the Cream Puff or big road race July 28th, so Aug 4 would be a better date.



After today I am just not big on Shotgun anymore and the presure from the BLM

over every little thing is getting old really fast.
