Jim VanSchoonhoven
Hi, to all who are wondering how Jeremy has been doing over in Spain at the
World Championships. He did not compete on the Mod bike because he and Jim
felt the courses were too dangerous for Jeremy's ability level. It also
came before the Stock competition and Jeremy felt he would be too tired to
do well in the Stock division and he didn't want to get injured..
On Saturday morning Jeremy competed in the Junior Stock competition hoping
to qualify for Sunday's finals which decide the top 5 positions. He did not
qualify for the finals. However he did finish 10th which made him the top
American. He said he was very happy with 10th. The courses were the hardest
he has ever seen anywhere. I guess that was the common consensus among all
the trials riders. Jeremy's 10th place finish was the highest of all the
Americans on the team. I think he is a pretty happy guy.
Thanks for all your support. If you have any questions let us know. Jeremy
will be back in the States June 6th but will not be home until the 13th. He
has a competition in West Virginia on the 10th.
