Hello OBRA,

As you may know, I am an athlete trustee for the USCF Board of Trustees, the
board that governs the rules in road, track and cyclocross racing under USA
Cycling. After the UCI change of the cyclocross brake rules allowing disk
brakes in CX, a similar rule change proposal will now come for consideration
by the USCF Board. I am interested in your constructive feedback on this
issue before heading into our meeting on July 13.

With the changes put in place by the UCI concerning the track omnium in the
Olympics and World Championships, changes to this year's National (Elite)
Track Championships will also be discussed.

Please keep in mind that I am available for other ideas and concerns about
USCF road, track and cyclocross racing, especially as they relate to the
racing rules. Please also note that my position is volunteer and not a paid
staff member of USA Cycling, so I am generally not privy to information on
the inner workings of USA Cycling! In order to spare the list a drawn out
discussion that may not interest all, please reply off list. I can post a
summary of my findings if I get numerous replies.

~Kendra
