FS: a great, reasonably priced tandem

Picked this up at Sellwood Cycles in the spring... well, turns out that a 5'6" couple shouldn't be riding a frame built for a 6'0"/5'0" combo.

It's a Colian (Colin Laing) frame, built in Arizona in mid-late 70s. Decent parts from the era -- Sugino, Cinelli, Suntour, Dia Compe, etc -- but that also means 5spd freewheel at 27" wheels. Double butted steel -- specifically, Ishiwata Magny V if you care.

It looks like it has been used for MAYBE 300 miles in the last 30+ years. Some chips in the paint from storage/transport, but no wear on the rim brake pads, barely any grease on the chainrings.

Like I said, built for a medium sized captain and small stoker.

Captain's side is 56.5cm (c-c) square. Stoker's ST is 52cm C-C; stoker seattube is 64cm, but remember that the stoker stem will REDUCE the reach.

Asking $400.
