Description: Papo, T Rex Model Replica Collectible

The t-rex arms thing can be true about experienced and beginning cyclists.
Some people think it is odd looking, but it does seem to be working for Andy
Schleck.

My wife is a nurse, you do the math.
The beginners race is also for people who have never raced the STXC. Ryan
Weaver with the arm's and legs of a T-rex started in cat 4 on track last
year. He might as well as stolen fourth graders lunch money. see you next
week...

I'm always a little surprised whenever I see team kits and expensive bikes
in the beginner class.

I know some folks ride the beginner race as a "pre-ride" or warm-up but it
seems a little unfair to the true beginners to have to deal with far more
experienced and aggressive racers.

Just FYI, Track and Road upgrades are NOT self-selecting. You must be
upgraded by OBRA (or the governing body). (Upgrade rules are available on
the OBRA website.)

Mountain biking is more self-selecting; although OBRA may required upgrades
in cases of abuse of this policy.

Personally,
I wear my absolute best outfit when I race even though I have no chance of winning even the kiddie race. I feel if I look like (insert your favorite racer here) I will race like him or her and thus kick the fanny's of all the beginner class. Plus, I think I would feel neat standing on the podium showing my huge legs and knee high socks!!
I have no idea how anyone keeps up with me
